The mission of the Social Services Board is to make policy decisions regarding the implementation of Bedford County's public assistance programs.
The Social Services Board is made up of five members, which are all appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The board meets every third Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
The Bedford County Planning Commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted) in the Bedford County Administration third floor Boardroom.
