Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is responsible for all Bedford County zoning and subdivision matters and applicable zoning ordinances.

There are seven members on the Planning Commission. They are all appointed by the Board of Supervisors by district.

The Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the County Administration Building (122 East Main Street, Bedford).

This meeting will be held in the FIRST FLOOR Meeting Room located on the ground floor of the Bedford County Administration Office, 122 E. Main St., Bedford, VA.

  • Event Intro The Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted). Worksessions begin at 5:00 pm and regular meetings begin at 7:00 pm.

This meeting has been moved to the First Floor Meeting Room located on the Ground Floor of the Administration Building.
