The mission of the Social Services Board is to make policy decisions regarding the implementation of Bedford County's public assistance programs.
The Social Services Board is made up of five members, which are all appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The board meets every third Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
The Bedford County Commissioner of Revenue office will be closed on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, for a continuing education class. The office will reopen for normal business hours on May 7.
