Circuit Court Clerk’s Office




8:15 AM - 5:00 PM


Position responsibilities include assisting with the operation of the Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office primarily in the Probate/Estate Division. Duties include but are not limited to: meeting with probate/estate customers, reviewing, receipting and processing various probate filings, interaction with court personnel, attorneys and the general public.


Minimum Requirements Include:

  • Minimum - high school graduate with experience/education in general office procedures
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and be willing to cross train in other office divisions
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to master complicated proprietary software programs specific to court management
  • Motivated and punctual
  • Willingness to participate in on-going educational coursework on site and occasional travel to courses off site.

    Preferred Experience includes:

  • Prior experience working as a paralegal or in a court/clerk’s office environment
  • Working knowledge of all matters of probate
  • Working knowledge of court management system and related scanning/imaging software
  • Knowledge of basic IT skills including the ability to troubleshoot and triage minor problems with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary software
