Starting Sept. 9, 2025, the Bedford County Board of Supervisors will begin holding their meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, instead of Mondays.

The change was approved unanimously at the Board’s regular meeting on July 28. The revised schedule will help Supervisors and staff prepare more effectively for meetings and will also give the public an extra day to review the agenda.

Meeting times will remain the same—worksessions at 5 p.m., followed by regular meetings at 7 p.m. All meetings take place in the Boardroom of the Bedford County Administration Office at 122 E. Main St., Bedford, unless otherwise noted.

Here is the updated 2025 meeting schedule:

• September 9 – 5 p.m. work session, 7 p.m. regular meeting
• September 23 – 5 p.m. work session, 7 p.m. regular meeting
• October 14 – 5 p.m. joint meeting with EDA, 7 p.m. regular meeting
• October 28 – 5 p.m. work session, 7 p.m. regular meeting
• November 18 – 5 p.m. work session, 7 p.m. regular meeting
• December 9 – 5 p.m. work session, 7 p.m. regular meeting
• January 13, 2026 – 5 p.m. work session, 7 p.m. organizational and regular meeting
