The Central Virginia Transportation Planning Organization (CVTPO) is seeking public input to help articulate a vision for the transportation system and prioritize investment over the next 25 years.

Connect Central Virginia 2050, the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for the region’s urban area, is the foundational plan that identifies future goals and investment for the entire transportation network—roadways, rail, pedestrian, bike, transit, and freight—for the next 25 years. The LRTP is developed by the CVTPO, in coordination with local governments, transportation agencies, community stakeholders, and the public.
