Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, to cast ballots in the primary election for the Democratic and Republican parties.

Please review the following important information before Election Day:

• To find your polling place and view a sample ballot for your address, visit our online map at www.bedfordcountyva.gov/votingmap.
• All polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters who are in line by 7 p.m. will be permitted to vote.
• Voters are required to present an acceptable form of identification at the polls (i.e., driver's license, DMV-issued ID card, etc.) If you arrive without an acceptable ID, you may either sign an ID Confirmation Statement or vote a provisional ballot. Poll workers will provide detailed instructions at your polling place.
