Bedford County Planning Commission Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 20, 2018 has been cancelled. The next meeting of the Planning Commission will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Boardroom of the County Administration Building 122 E. Main Street Bedford, Va.
Bedford County is seeking licensed and qualified contractors to perform alterations to the Bedford County Administration Building, located at 122 East Main Street, Bedford, Virginia, 24523. This project consists of strengthening areas of the first floor in the east wing by sistering of joists and installation of clip angles and other structural members from the underside of the floor. This project also includes installation of new lights, ceiling grid and ceiling as well as bid alternates for paint and flooring.

There will be a Mandatory pre-bid conference on November 7, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bedford County Administration Building in the Main Floor Training Room located at 122 East Main Street, Bedford, VA. A site visit of the project area will be provided immediately following the meeting.
Sealed bids will be received until November 28, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bedford County Administration Office, 122 East Main Street, Suite 202, Bedford, VA 24523. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Main Floor Training Room of the Bedford County Administration Building. Any bids received after the specified time will be rejected.
