Come out and bring the kids to the newest addition to Falling Creek Park. The new BIKE PARK was designed and built specifically for mountain bikers, but is suitable for BMX riders that desire to hone their bike handling skills, increase their confidence and to progress to new skill levels for just about anything that a trail can throw at you. The Bike Park is located at the end of County Park Rd.
“Common Sense” Rules
This area is designed for mountain bikers of all abilities to practice riding skills and to develop even greater skills. Please follow the park rules so that everyone stays safe and has a great time:
Always be aware of other riders.
Ride the Skills Loop and Dirt Jumps only in the direction indicated.
Be aware that the Pump Track runs in all directions-keep your eyes open.
Always yield right of way and stay out of other riders' way, whether you are riding or watching.
Start small and work your way up as your technique improves.We Suggest this Progression:1. Skills Loop-use optional lines as your skills improve2. Pump Track3. Smallest dirt jumps
Difficulty Rating System:Easiest- Suitable for beginners.More Difficult- Suitable for experienced riders.Most Difficult- Suitable for advanced riders.
Falling Creek Bike Park Rules-Wear safety gear. (Helmets, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are recommended.)
-Ride only when park is open, Hours are from dawn to dusk, unless the area is posted “Area Closed” or the dirt is wet.
-Use caution and know your limits. Start small and work your way up.
-If in doubt, stay out!
-NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES!
-Ride responsibly, be aware of other riders and yield the right of way.
-Be considerate. Foul language will not be tolerated.
-Parents, watch your children.
-Ride only in designated areas.
-If the ground is wet, do not ride in this area!
-Remain in the spectator area when you are not riding.
-NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
-Pets MUST remain on leash at all times and NEVER be in rider areas.
