The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is a detailed presentation of Bedford County's financial position and activities for the fiscal year. The ACFR is presented in the following three sections:

Introductory Section: This section is unaudited and includes the letter of transmittal, Bedford County's Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, a list of Bedford County's principal officials, and an organizational chart.

Financial Section: This section includes the independent auditor's report on the basic financial statement, Management's Discussion and Analysis, which is unaudited supplementary information required by GASB, basic financial statements, notes to the basic financial statements, other unaudited required supplementary information, and combining fund financial statements.

Statistical Section: This section is unaudited and includes selected financial and demographic information, generally presented on a multi-year comparative basis.
