The Bedford County Nursing Home has a long, rich history woven into the fabric of the community. We can trace our roots back to 1831 when the Nursing Home originally started as the County Poor Farm. Today, approximately 90 residents are living their best lives with long-term care support services among an engaged and service-oriented team. 

Our facility's unique design centers around a beautiful interior courtyard where residents enjoy bird watching. We are located adjacent to Falling Creek Park and have views of the Peaks of Otter.

Resident rooms are extra spacious. Therapy services are offered by Genesis Therapies. We are members of the American Health Care Association and Virginia Health Care Association.
