The Bedford County Attorney is appointed by the Bedford County Board of Supervisors.

The County Attorney provides legal advice and representation regarding County matters for the Board of Supervisors, County Administrator, County staff, and the various Bedford County boards, commissions, and committees.

The County Attorney is responsible for preparing and reviewing contracts, leases, and real-estate documents, serving as Parliamentarian for public meetings, enforcing County Code, providing policy analysis, and much more.
