The Bedford County Waste Management department is making it easy for residents to support the Bedford County Animal Shelter.

You can donate food, treats, and kitty litter at any of Bedford County's gated waste collection sites. Donations can be dropped off at the attendant station anytime during normal business hours, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Bedford County Animal Shelter is in need of donations of:

-Dog or cat food (Purina is preferred by shelter staff, if possible.)
-Dog or cat treats
-Kitty litter (non-clumping only)

Please do not bring other items such as blankets, toys, etc. to attendant stations at this time. Bedford County is only accepting the items listed above.
